Event Description:
Please join us for an afternoon of FREE, festive family fun at the Glenwood Springs Community Center. Free fittness classes, swimming, ice skating, climbing wall and more. There will be activities for all ages, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Clause along with a chance to win a yearly membership and other fun prizes.
Directions:
From Rifle:
Take I-70 east to West Glenwood exit (#114). Turn right at stop light (Midland Ave which turns into Wulfsohn Rd). Continue over the river and under the train trellis. The Glenwood Springs Community Center is less than 2 miles on your right.
From Vail:
Take I-70 west to Glenwood Springs exit (#116). At stop sign, turn right; at stop light (6th Street), turn right. Then right onto Grand Ave. At 8th turn right, then the next right onto Colorado Ave, and left at 7th Street. Stay on 7th (7th turns into 8th) till you come to the “T” in the road. This is Midland Ave, turn right. The Community Center is approximately 200 yards on your left.
From Aspen:
Take Glen Ave north (Hwy 82 turns into Glen Ave at McDonalds)
to 27th Street, turn left. Travel across Sunlight Bridge and turn right onto Midland Ave. (second right after the bridge). Continue straight through the 4 & 3 way stops. The Community Center is on your left (approximately
2 1/2+ miles from the Midland turn).
From Downtown Glenwood:
Travel north on Grand Ave to 8th Street, turn left. Take the next right onto Colorado Ave, then the next left onto 7th Street. Stay on 7th (7th turns into 8th) till you come to the “T” in the road, which is Midland Ave, turn right. The Community Center is approximately 200 yards on your left.
From Hot Springs Pool & Hotel Colorado:
Turn left on Grand Ave, up over the bridge to 8th Street, turn right.
Take the next right onto Colorado Ave, then the next left onto 7th Street. Stay on 7th (7th turns into 8th) till you come to the “T” in the road, which is Midland Ave, turn right. The Community Center is approximately 200 yards on your left.
